The Congressional oversight panel has released a collection of approximately 70 photos obtained from the property of former adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third such disclosure from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 photographs the committee has obtained from Epstein's property. It features images of excerpts from the novel Lolita written across a woman's body, and censored pictures of female overseas passports.

This action arrives just hours before the 19 December deadline for the Department of Justice to disclose all documents associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These new photographs pose additional inquiries about precisely what the Department of Justice has in its possession," stated the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Made Public

Several of the images made public on Thursday feature Epstein conversing with professor and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates standing next to a woman whose features is obscured; Steve Bannon seated at a desk facing Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest high-net-worth, influential figures to be pictured in Epstein estate images disclosed by the House Oversight Committee - earlier disclosed images also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, previous US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photos is does not constitute indication of any misconduct, and a number of the featured individuals have asserted they were not participating in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement issued alongside the photo disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not offer explanatory details or timeframes for the pictures.

"Images were picked to offer the general populace with openness into a representative sample of the photos obtained from the property, and to give understanding into Epstein's network and his profoundly alarming behavior," the announcement reads.

The publication also contains a number of photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in dark ink across several locations of a woman's body, such as her torso, lower extremity, hipbone, and spine. Lolita tells the account of a minor who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

An example of a excerpt from the book scrawled across a female's upper body states, "Lolita's name: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photographs of women's travel documents and ID papers from countries worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the data on the papers, including identities and birth dates, is redacted but the committee said in a statement that the travel documents are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

Another photo shows Epstein sitting at a desk in close proximity flanked by three women whose identities have been redacted - a first has her hand on Epstein's chest under his shirt, and another individual is bending to look at a close-by laptop. Epstein can be seen to be assisting the final person attach a piece of jewelry.

Another image released is a screenshot of digital messages from an unknown person who says they have been sent "some girls" and are demanding "$$1,000 per girl".

Photograph Release Arrives Before DOJ Cut-off

The committee has a vast number of images in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "both graphic and mundane," its press release on Thursday explained.

The Congressional committee first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The photographs and documents the Epstein estate provided to the committee are distinct from what is commonly called "the Epstein documents". Those are documents under the justice department's custody associated with its own investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Transparency Act, which President Trump signed into law in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its files. The extent of what is included in the DOJ's documents is not publicly known, and it's expected that a large amount of the information will be extensively redacted, comparable to the committee's releases
